Math
This week we have been working on the challenging concept of fractions. We began by identifying fractions, finding fractions on rectangular grids, and finding fractions of quantities. We played some fun games - Find your Family, and Fraction Pairs. Fraction Pairs is a card game, in which students try to find pairs of fractions with the same value. As an added twist to the game, they must also try to avoid having the 'rogue fraction' at the end of the game.
